Upland PD Officer Retires
After 34 Years of Service

Quoting Upland PD: A heartfelt congratulations to Officer Joe Gutierrez, who is retiring after 34 years of dedicated service to our community. Joe started with Upland PD back in 1989 and served as a cadet, police officer, field training officer, motorcycle officer, and motor instructor.

Among Joe’s Many talents, he became one of our master collision investigators, coordinated countless grants, DUI checkpoints, and spearheaded UPD’s Ride to Live motorcycle training program that’s free and open to the public. Thank you again, Joe! We wish you all the best in retirement and in your next chapters.
